Dawgs Roll In Opener!
John Barsby Varsity Opener A Success The grand opening of the City of Nanaimo's new artificial turf field at Beban Park was a huge success as our varsity squad came out playing tough en route to a 36-0 victory over the Holy Cross Crusaders of Surrey.
Many thanks are due to the City of Nanaimo for giving us the opportunity to represent HS ball in this great football town of ours. Thanks also to Mr. Gray and Barsby Alumni Harry Parmar for the great job on the PA. The concession was also a success and thank you to Erlene Cooper, Grandma Cooper and Mrs. Lorraine Tanti for all of their hard work.

Kudo's to Chef Bruce Chandler for the AWESOME program breakfast Friday morning. We were fuelled and ready to play ball Friday Night!! Also, a big shout out and thank you to all the students, staff and supporters of the program that were in attendance! You make us play harder for sure!!
Next up for the program are road trips to Hugh Boyd for our JV's on Wednesday and Abbottsford for our Varsity squad on Friday.
Monday Practice for Varsity is 0600 AM
Monday Practice for JV's is 3:15 PM.
