Week 3 JV's at G.P. Vanier

Week 3 of the regular season continues with our JV’s travelling up the road to play the G.P. Vanier Towhees under the lights at Bill Moore Park in Courtenay. The drive is approx 1 hour in duration and there is bleacher seating and a concession for spectators. We are encouraging all parents, friends and supporters of the program to wear red and come support our JV squad. We are looking forward to a great evening of ball and a lot of fun on and off of the field this coming Wednesday night! When at games please remember to cheer for your squad and not against the other squad. Sportsmanship is big on and off of the field of play.

What we know about GP. Vanier: These guys like to play a very physical brand of football and have a very strong running game offensively. Vanier has a reputation for being tough ball players and we have to step-up to the plate to play ball with them. Playing at home, they will come out very intense and we can take nothing for granted in any phase of the game versus this squad.

Bring: 4 Litre Water Bottle
Meal: All Players should eat a complex carbohydrate meal immediately after school: Peanut Butter and Jelley Sandwich on Whole Wheat Bagel/Bread with Milk and Fresh Fruit . No pop, Red Bull Energy type drinks or greasy fried food!

All players must travel to and from the game on the team bus.

Football Study Hall: is Thursday (tomorrow) after school in Mr. Austin’s classroom. Attendance will be taken. As a team we need to train to be champions in the classroom as well as on the field...everything is connected!!
