The Island Classic!  On February 27th, 1996 Mt. Douglas High School and John Barsby High School officially became members of the BC Secondary Schools Football Association.  This represented the birth of High School Football on Vancouver Island.   The Island Classic Football Series between these two squads is a celebration of the original programs on "The Rock".  This year is the 20th (twentieth) season for each program!  Along the way over over a thousand young men have played HS football for these programs!  In addition, five AA Varsity titles have been won and three AAA Varsity titles!  Several JV titles have also been won at each level.  John Barsby is proud to suit up against the best of the best in Mt. Douglas.  A big tip of the hat to the Mt. Douglas Rams!

This year we will be playing a JV-Varsity Double Header at Merle Logan Field.  The JV Game Kicks-Off at 4 PM and the Varsity Game at 7 PM.

Time to narrow the performance gap folks.  There is what each one of us can potentially be and there is where we are right now.  The difference between the two is your Performance Gap.   This summer represents a terrific opportunity to narrow our Performance Gap as individuals and a team/program.

Weight Room is Open: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 10:01-11:16.

Ropes, Tires, Plyo Boxes,  Ladders etc. on hand as well.

Attendance is kept.
