Our JV's played AAA WJ Mouat extremely tough in a hot, hard fought contest on the turf in Abbottsford. The young Barsby crew was relentless and though we came up short on the scoreboard 27-16, we had drives end on the Mouat 1, twice on their 3 and once on the 5. A little more finish and it is a different game entirely!
Varsity 64-Carson Graham 14
Talk about Bounce! Carson opened the game with a nice drive and a score, but the Varsity Dawgs responded in massive fashion. At the end of the 1st quarter we led 22-6, at half it was 44-14. The game ended 64-14 with the entire 2nd in running time. We surely played a tough physical brand of ball and there was synergy between offense, defense and specials. Next week our JV's host Mark Isfeld on Wed. in "The Cage" and our Varsity travel to play the Windsor Dukes in North Vancouver.
