Week 2 @ Belmont

Exciting Double-Header in Langford!!

Week two sees our JV and Varsity squads engaged in a double-header on the road versus the Belmont Bulldogs of Langford, BC.  The JV game kicks off at 2:30 PM and is a league game.  The Varsity game is exhibition and kick's off at 5 PM.  Both contests will be played at Bear Mountain Stadium which is located at City Center Park in Langford.

We are using this trip as a program builder and the Varsity are departing along-side the JV so they will be present to watch and cheer on our young fellas.  After their game, the Junior Varsity will be on hand to support the Varsity for their game.  Both team busses will return together after the Varsity Game.

Tuesday: JV 3:16-5:31
Wednesday: Varsity 0601-0801  JV 3:16-5:31
Thursday: Varsity 3:16-5:31

JV's Thursday Study Hall: 3:06 to 4:31 in Mr. Austin's Classroom!

Game Day Notes

Uniforms: JV in Reds, Varsity in Whites.
Cleates: Moulded rubber cleates or short, artificial turf studs.
Water-Bottle: Everyone brings their own personal water bottle.
Food: There will be no eating on the bus.  Players should bring a pre-game snack (Seniors) and a post-game snack (JV's).

Itinerary

11:31  Dawghouse will be opened
11:32  JV's conduct all taping and change into game pants/socks.
11:33  Varsity assemble all individual uniforms and equipment.
12:01  JV Equipment Check/JV's load team bus.
12:04  Varsity Equipment Check/Varsity Load Bus
12:10  Both Team Busses Depart.
13:16  Arrive @ Bear Mountain
13:21  JV's Get Changed into uniforms/Varsity secure team area.
13:36  JV's Begin Team Warm-UP
1426  Captains Called
1431  JV Kick-Off
15:36 Varsity Get Changed into their uniforms/all taping conducted.
1606  Varsity Pre-Game Warm-Up Begins
1631  JV Game Ends/Handshakes and change into post-game attire (All gear gets loaded on bus before returning to watch varsity game!)
1656 Varsity Captains called to center field
17:01 Varsity Kick-Off
1901  Varsity Game Ends
1916  Board Bust For Dawghouse
2031  Arrive @ Dawghouse and change-over gear to practice uniforms.
2051  Players Released

**Of Note:  All school rules apply on this trip.  Players must travel to and from game on team bus.  JV and Varsity, bring a snack!!  It is going to be a long day.  Hydrate well the night before!  Eat a substantial breakfast and a good lunch prior to bus departing from school.
